The BEFCO Core Aerators are designed to allow better air and water penetration in grass surfaces such as lawns, sports fields, municipal parks and golf courses. These aerators use ¾” case hardened closed spoons, bolted on rotor flanges that  are spaced 6 ½” apart  SD units have 6 spoons per hub, while HD models have 8 spoons per hub, which can penetrate heavy thatch and tough soils to break up compaction and revitalize grassed areas  SD models are available in 48”, 60”, and 72” working widths, and compatible with 20 to 50 HP tractors  HD models are available in 60” and 72” working widths, and compatible with 20 to 70 HP tractors
